Appa works with regional artists to bring their music to a larger audience. Nestled in the heart of the Appalachian mountains, appa provides a recording facility with a home-style feel. During sessions you may smell beans and cornbread on the stove, or hear dogs barking at the moon. Our goal is to re-create that atmosphere through the recordings of the artists. The people and area are richly blessed and we want to cut a slice of that feeling and share it for all to enjoy. This area is also blessed with incredible songwriters and musicians that lend their talent to various projects. Some are professional, and some have honed their craft on their front porches. The end result is the same….music filled with passion and emotion.
