Chucky Ray is a West Virginia boy born and bred…in the mountains or the streets of D.C. where he spent his teenage years his love for a variety of styles can easily be heard in his playing…from the blues, to the heavy rhythms found only in the south. Versatile in many genres his appreciation for all forms of music lets him play with passion….love and soul from the heart…when it’s pure it’s  good…like drippings straight from the still…

Randall Jackson-drums/percussion/vocals

Randall Jackson is seasoned singer/songwriter with over twenty fives years of experience on the stage and in the studio. He is a former staff writer for one of the more prestigious publishing houses in Nashville, TN. His music has been used for everything from artists cuts to nationally released music beds for commercial projects. He is currently filling the drumming duties for the Stray Dawgz band in addition to writing and promoting regional artists to radio. He states that it is very rewarding to be a part of such a talented group of musicians that are very accomplished in their own right.

Hoss Kitts-keyboards/vocals

Hoss Kitts was born with a love and passion for music. “My earliest memories are of my mother gliding across the kitchen floor singing “Me and Bobby McGee” and “Hey Jude” he says. He was classicly trained on woodwinds and was a founding member of, and began playing sax, flute, and keyboards with the popular local rock band “East Street”. In the early 80s he toured with the top 40/pop band “Top Flite” before returning home to play with several local acts. Due to some terrible life choices and, as he says, “a 25 year self induced butt kicking”, he nearly lost his life and his passion for music nearly died with him; but, as he states, “by the Grace of God and a little help from my friends” his life was spared and his love for music has returned with a vengance He is playing now with the same love for music as that little boy listening to his mother sing.

Chris Hazelwood-Bass/Vocals

Chris D Hazelwood started playing music at an early age in a small country church. He says “I was born into a family of bluegrass musicians and soon found my passion for it as well.” He then found his love for other genres of music playing for decades in several bands. He says “Music is the medication that cures all ailes.”
